Robert Vigneault

 

Robert Vigneault has held various leadership appointments such as the Chief Information Officer of the Royal College of Physicians and Colleges of Canada, the Group Program Director for Telehealth and Innovation & Adoption at Canada Health Infoway, the Principal of the Ministry of Health Holdings Pte. Ltd.’s Information Systems Division Project Management Office, and the Deputy Director of its National Electronic Health Record Program. In addition, he has also served in senior management positions at organisations such as IBM, MBTelehealth, Health Canada, SIS Business Alliance, TecKnowledge Healthcare Systems, and Atlantic Blue Cross Care.

He provides trusted counsel in the development and deployment of business solutions with notable experience in e-Health, Telehealth, Portfolio Management, Change Management, Document Management, and Business Process Re-engineering. His roles typically ensure that all organizational projects adhere to a common set of standards for quality assurance, risk management, and project reporting/business intelligence.

Robert has participated in numerous e-Health reform initiatives across the country at the provincial level in Alberta and Manitoba, as well as on a National/Federal level with the First Nations Inuit Health Branch of Health Canada, and as part of an investment team at Canada Health Infoway. Robert is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and a graduate of the Masters of History Program at Carleton University where he researched both the development of Child Health Programs in Canada and the impact of Social Change on the Medical Profession.
